Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and secure Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server 2019/2022 systems in enterprise or hardened environments
Perform Active Directory administration, including user, group, GPO, and system management (#1 priority)
Implement and maintain system security controls in accordance with RMF, DoD Cloud SRG, and STIG requirements
Support secure system configurations, vulnerability remediation, and compliance audits
Manage and troubleshoot networking components including VPCs/VNets, VPNs, firewalls, routing, peering, and zero-trust architectures
Collaborate with DISA and mission stakeholders to support operational and security objectives
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with DoD standards

Required

Experience with Linux and Windows systems administration in enterprise or hardened environments
Strong experience with RHEL Linux, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Active Directory administration
Knowledge of RMF, DoD Cloud SRG, STIG implementation, and secure configuration standards
Understanding of networking concepts including VPCs/VNets, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and zero-trust principles
Security+ (or equivalent) IAT Level II certification required on day one
Active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade 4–5 days per week

Preferred

Experience supporting IL5 or IL6 DoD cloud environments
Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or other DoD Mission Support Cloud platforms
General understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure concepts
