Responsibilities
Advise on Artificial Intelligence integration into credit terms
Advise on regulatory compliance matters related to secured loans, credit agreements, and securitization transactions
Ensure adherence to Federal Reserve reporting requirements, including FR Y-14Q schedules
Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements and related documentation
Provide guidance on structured finance and securitization structures, including risk retention and disclosure obligations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret and implement regulatory changes impacting capital markets and lending activities
Support regulatory filings and respond to inquiries from supervisory authorities
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to practice in New York preferred
5+ years of experience in regulatory law within a financial institution or top-tier law firm
Strong knowledge of FR Y-14Q reporting requirements and related Federal Reserve regulations
Experience with secured lending, credit agreements, and securitization transactions
Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Familiarity with capital adequacy, stress testing, and other regulatory frameworks applicable to large banking organizations
Prior experience advising on Dodd-Frank, Basel III, and related compliance matters
