Perioperative Technician

Main Line Health is seeking a Perioperative Technician to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia, and Surgeons to provide care and support to patients undergoing surgery, while also managing the operating room environment and equipment. Responsibilities

Work with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery

Knowledgeable in both the operation and care of specialized instruments and equipment used by the Surgical and Anesthesia team

Responsible for positioning, lifting and/or transferring patients as well as cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure

Help transport specimens, manage inventory and maintain adequate supply levels

Qualification

Required

Previous Operating Room, anesthesia tech or related Health Care experience required

High School diploma or GED required

Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required
