Outside Sales Representative
OERTZENGroup is a global leader in equipment manufacturing, seeking a driven field sales representative to cover a key market in New England. This role involves selling high-end, automated systems to new and existing clients, focusing on relationship-building and managing the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
Drive sales across a defined territory
Prospect and identify new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, and strategic partnerships
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and site assessment through deal negotiation and handoff to project teams
Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers including business owners and general contractors
Maintain an active pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, installation, and customer support teams
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in capital equipment or industrial B2B sales
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage a territory independently
Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned region
Preferred
Familiarity with selling into convenience store, fuel retail, or automotive sectors strongly preferred but not required
