Responsibilities

Provide technical support for end user hardware and software needs, including project-based support onsite
Provide routine, technical support and maintenance for desktop, laptop, telephony, and network systems including hardware, application software, operating systems, and connectivity
Troubleshoot issues and document resolution with support as needed while also repairing or replacing defective equipment with support as needed
Conduct knowledge transfer forums to identify and resolve problems and contribute to all phases of support, including coordination, monitoring, tracking, and resolution related to installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues

Required

6-10 years of experience in healthcare IT support or related field OR Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Knowledge of computer hardware, including CPU's, RAM, Hard Drives, etc
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building
Strong documentation skills
Understanding of TCP/IP based networking
Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues
Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language
Highly self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Exceptional customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Proven leadership abilities
Ability to provide technical guidance and training to junior staff
Must be able to carry 10-15 pounds of equipment and lift into a rack
Must be able to take on-call rotation and dispatch to locations real time when paged

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
