Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive, high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports
Architect and administer Power BI Service environments, including security, access control, and governance
Build and optimize advanced DAX measures and Power Query (M) transformations
Develop and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and analytical workloads
Design enterprise-grade semantic models using star/snowflake schemas
Migrate Power BI assets across workspaces and Microsoft Fabric environments
Implement Power BI governance standards including RLS, deployment pipelines, sensitivity labels, and tenant configurations
Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data platforms

Required

Expert-level knowledge of the Power BI ecosystem (Desktop, Service, Premium, Dataflows, DataMart, Gateways, Fabric workloads)
Advanced Power BI dashboard development and UX design best practices
Strong expertise in Power BI Service administration, user roles, and security models
In-depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and performance optimization
Advanced SQL scripting and query tuning experience
Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and semantic layer design
Experience with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, SQL Server, Synapse, Fabric Lakehouse)
Knowledge of Power BI governance, deployment pipelines, and tenant-level configurations
Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD, automated refresh, and ALM Toolkit
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
