Responsibilities
Performs various fabrication tasks, including pipe fitting/welding, structural welding, tube bending, and system assembly
Maintains up‑to‑date technical skills by attending required training sessions
Ensures high‑quality workmanship and timely service to support customer satisfaction
Assists and trains alongside other fabricators on repairs and new equipment builds
Completes additional tasks and shop duties as assigned by the Shop Manager
Qualification
Required
High school education or GED equivalent
Must have mechanical aptitude
2 years of hands‑on fabrication experience
Skilled in fabricating frames and hangers, including cutting, tacking, fitting, welding, and polishing
Experienced with simple spool work, such as ISO sketches, cutting, tacking, and confirming fit
Able to read and interpret P&IDs, blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Familiar with stainless steel process piping and ASME‑BPE standards
