Responsibilities
Schedules work load for the most efficient use of equipment and staff
Participates in the auction process and troubleshoots as necessary
Participates in staff meetings providing direction and support for the growth of the company
Increases customer base through networking with area auto dealers and advertising
Communicates with other departments and/or customers providing service estimates
Qualification
Required
Must be familiar with automotive service computer programs
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to prioritize work to meet the weekly auction schedule
Must be up-to-date on OSHA requirements and able to train employees as needed
Must be able to control supply inventories based on needs
Must be able to communicate well with all levels
Must be able to counsel and discipline in line with all federal and state laws
Must be able to develop a supplier network based on quality and cost
High school diploma or its equivalent as a minimum
At least three years as a service manager or in a comparable position
At least two years of supervisory experience
Ability to learn company-specific computer programs
Preferred
Associate's degree or higher in business or related degree preferred
