Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot computer and device issues using customer notes, system checks, and hardware diagnostics
Perform computer and device repairs, including cleaning, disassembly, part replacement, and reassembly using provided tools
Prepare devices for deployment by completing services such as asset tagging, case applications, screen applications, green boxing, and white-glove configurations
Support order fulfillment activities including pre-wiring carts, staging equipment, and final quality checks
Verify outgoing devices meet established quality and functionality standards
Pick, pack, and ship devices according to purchase orders and deployment requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
Cross-train across repairs, production, inventory, and warehouse functions as business needs evolve
Follow all safety procedures and operational standards
Provide relevant updates, repair details, and data to the designated lead
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong understanding of computer hardware, device components, and repair processes, or the ability to learn quickly
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes
High attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment
Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar tools; ability to learn new systems quickly
Customer-service mindset with pride in delivering high-quality work
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods while working on devices
Ability to operate job-related tools and machinery
Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on repair experience preferred
Prior experience with computer repair, electronics repair, or technical hardware support strongly preferred
