Quality Improvement Specialist
Devereux is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations providing services in behavioral healthcare. The Quality Improvement Specialist will work closely with the Quality department and Administration team to ensure quality improvements and outcome measures, supporting quality management through data analysis and reporting.

Support quality management including but not limited to data analysis and reporting
Demonstrate and maintain an appropriate balance between operational realities and issues of program quality, effectiveness, and outcomes
Assists with facilitating management and training of Quality Improvement activities
Act as a Certified Investigator
Serve as a resource person to all departments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Health Care Administration or Social Services field
High school diploma and additional experience in lieu of degree may be accepted
Minimum of one year experience in quality management within the healthcare industry
Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or mental health diagnoses
Broad knowledge of healthcare organizational dynamics and delivery systems
Principles and practices of quality improvement and regulatory and agency standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Project management skills
Strong data collection and analytic skills utilizing computer applications
Facilitation and training skills
Ability to be adaptable, flexible, and change activities quickly
Ability to make swift and sound decisions independently
