Responsibilities
Reconcile trade matters, as well as support fixed-income trading security setups
Manage Salesforce cases, reject wires, and more
As a Technical Specialist, you'll process routine and non-routine activities/transactions (accuracy and attention to detail are critical here!)
You'll need to use good judgment – you will be researching security matters, analyzing information, clearing discrepancies, and making other decisions that are crucial to both the dept and the firm as a whole
Communicate consistently with internal and external parties through various methods – it is all about collaboration!
Qualification
Required
data analysis and quality assurance experience in the brokerage, banking, or financial services industries
critical thinking skills
ability to collaborate with others
ability to dive deep into research
problem-solving skills
accuracy and attention to detail
good judgment in researching security matters, analyzing information, clearing discrepancies, and making decisions
consistent communication with internal and external parties
Preferred
3+ years of experience in brokerage, banking, or financial services working with data analysis, management, and quality assurance
Basic knowledge of investment securities
A classification as an Excel Pro- we are talking about everything from basic spreadsheets to Macros and VBA
Experience with database tools such as Power BI
An eye for detail and a passion for diving deep into research
