The role involves leading financial, commercial, and technical analysis of equity investments in renewable energy and clean technology projects, while managing internal approval processes and building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead aspects of the financial, commercial, and technical analysis and underwriting of highly structured, tax oriented equity investments in renewable energy and other clean technology projects

Review financial, commercial, and technical due diligence; identify risks and collaborate with deal team to structure mitigants

Conduct technical due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary, and provide in depth analysis on relevant industry trends in the renewable energy and other clean technology spaces

Manage the process for internal approval of transactions, including credit analysis, underwriting, legal, accounting, regulatory, and tax matters. Produce various written documents, including origination requests and investment memoranda

Build and maintain relationships with customers, outside advisors, and internal business partners to create deal opportunities and enhance execution capability

Mentor and advise less experienced team members

Complete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectations
