Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring
Produce quarterly and annual standalone financial statements
Preparation and submission of regulatory reporting, including quarterly Call Reports
Serve as the primary liaison for financial statement audits and tax return preparation
Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, budgets, and forecasts to support leadership decision-making
Implement and maintain internal controls, budgets, and processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and industry best practices
Monitor adherence to all relevant banking regulations
Recommend ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and standardization in financial tracking and reporting
Provide strategic insights related to financial reporting, capital management, and regulatory compliance
Prepare regulatory reports and support examiners during audits and examinations
Maintain documentation and reporting practices that meet or exceed regulatory expectations
Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by executive leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience within a banking or financial services organization
Demonstrated experience with financial and regulatory reporting in a banking environment
Proven ability to work in a highly regulated environment with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines
Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred
MBA strongly preferred
CPA designation preferred but not required
