Director of Brand + Marketing

LEFT LANE Hospitality Group is a real estate design, development, and management firm specializing in iconic properties. They are seeking a Director of Brand + Marketing to oversee marketing strategies for Hotel Bardo Savannah and Recess Hotel + Club, focusing on performance marketing and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans for all key revenue centers across both properties, including: rooms, restaurants, spa, cooking school, retail, and programming
Lead paid media strategy across Meta, Google, OTA placements, GDS, and emerging platforms
Hold external digital marketing agencies accountable to performance, pacing, testing, and ROI
Oversee CRM strategy, database growth, segmentation, hygiene, and reporting
Build and manage email marketing campaigns, automated flows, and lifecycle communications
Design and optimize digital guest journeys, including pre-arrival, in-stay, post-stay, and re-engagement
Lead upsell integration across booking engine, pre-arrival, and on-property touchpoints
Own guest journey automations, triggers, and testing roadmap
Own website optimization strategy, conversion, UX, content, SEO
Lead search visibility and AI optimization, ensuring properties are discoverable and accurately represented across evolving search platforms
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on ongoing site enhancements, analytics, and performance reporting
Partner closely with Revenue Management and Sales to align marketing initiatives, offers, and packages with commercial strategy, demand patterns, and on-property priorities
Support sales enablement efforts across group, corporate, weddings, and buyouts through clear positioning, messaging, and marketing support
Serve as a connective tissue between Brand, Marketing, Revenue, Sales, and Operations, ensuring alignment, clarity, and consistent execution
Build and document brand and marketing processes that scale across properties and future openings
Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring creativity, accountability, and ROI
Oversee digital marketing budgets and resource allocation across properties, balancing fixed and variable considerations
Support administrative systems tied to the department, including: Schedules and payroll close, BirchStreet workflows related to marketing spend, vendors, and purchasing
Demonstrated understanding of experiential marketing and programming, including strategy, planning, project management, revenue tracking, and on-property execution
Ability to guide and evaluate community partnerships and cultural collaborations, including partner selection, brand fit, on-property presence, and activation logistics
Working knowledge of on-property brand integrity and compliance, including brand audits, SOPs, partner activations, physical touchpoints, and guest-facing environments
Provide leadership and mentorship across the team, supporting prioritization, reinforcing expectations, resolving blockers, and ensuring follow-through, without replacing individual ownership
Foster a culture of clarity, ownership, creativity, and results-driven performance

Required

8+ years of experience in hospitality marketing, with significant digital and performance marketing leadership
Proven experience driving bookings, revenue, and demand through paid media, CRM, and lifecycle marketing
Deep understanding of luxury and lifestyle hospitality (hotels, resorts, F&B, wellness, clubs)
Strong cross-functional partner to Revenue Management, Sales, Operations, and F&B/Spa leadership
Hands-on operator who can move fluidly between strategy and execution
Experience leading agencies, managing budgets, and holding partners accountable
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with high standards
Based in Savannah or willing to relocate
