The Director of Accounts & Growth is responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts while managing the Account Management team and overseeing client success.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the Account Management team to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth
Set performance metrics and provide coaching that aligns account activities with company growth goals
Oversee the management of key customer accounts, maintaining relationships with high-level personnel at client organizations
Ensure customer concerns and escalations are resolved quickly and effectively, driving measurable value for clients
Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, strengthening long-term partnerships
Oversee the estimation process for both new opportunities and existing customer programs
Develop, maintain, and improve standardized quoting tools to optimize accuracy and efficiency
Review and approve quotes to ensure completeness, competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives
Personally prepare and develop quotes for complex or strategic opportunities
Ensure accurate and timely transfer of quoting and project details from Account Managers to Engineering, enabling smooth handoffs and execution
Develop and execute a business development strategy that generates new accounts in target markets
Lead sales organization build out, leading new processes and tools that streamline sales operations
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand revenue with existing customers through enhanced service offerings
Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine growth strategies proactively
Lead large-scale customer implementation projects, coordinating resources across departments (engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain)
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations
Partner with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that enhance client satisfaction
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and senior client stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all communications
Provide executive leadership with regular reporting on account performance, pipeline health, and project status
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence and attract new business

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales leadership, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors
Proven success in managing key accounts and securing new business
Strong leadership experience in managing and developing account teams
Direct experience in process routings for manufacturing
Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading customer implementations
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to interact confidently at the executive level
Strong understanding of PowerPoint and other MS Suite apps
Cross-functional collaboration skills with operations, engineering, and quality teams
