Human Resource Generalist II
Baker Boy is a trusted provider of premium, on-trend bakery goods for foodservice and other markets. They are seeking a Human Resource Generalist II to support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Support recruitment and onboarding by posting jobs, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and facilitating new-hire orientation
Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings
Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include Form I-9s and other compliance reviews
Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, including training documentation, performance evaluations, new employee information, and terminations
Assists with administering employee benefits, including collecting and submitting employee information
Process unemployment claims by reviewing notices, gathering documentation, submitting responses timely to state agencies, and participating in hearing when required
Assist with employment verifications by responding to authorized requests
Maintains security badges for employees and contractors
Supports company-wide information meetings such as quarterly employee meetings, open enrollment, recognition events, and other events as needed
Assist with employee relations issues with professionalism and fairness
Aids with implementing training programs and retention activities
Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions
Assist in daily HR functions
Perform any other duties as assigned by HR Manager
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma Required; bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration or equivalent degree required
Two or more years of relevant work experience in human resource management is required
Extensive knowledge of company policies and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required
Demonstrated organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to provide appropriate information to perform tasks efficiently and effectively
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality concerning all Human Resource and private matters
Demonstrated strong soft skills such as tact, self-awareness, motivation, empathy, interpersonal competency, and willingness to accept other points of view and compromise as needed
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive management and product information
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with leaders, department managers, and team members as appropriate
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills at various organizational levels
Capable of being proactive and self-motivated with successful project accomplishments
Preferred
Human Resource certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is preferred
HRIS or similar software experience is preferred
