SelectQuote Insurance Services is dedicated to helping customers protect their loved ones through various insurance products. They are seeking a Sales Qualification Associate who will handle insurance product inquiries and transfer potential customers to licensed agents, all while creating a positive first impression and achieving key performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Paid training; we will give you all the tools you need for success
Responsible for creating a positive 1st impression of SelectQuote by having a conversational, energetic tone of voice
Answering primarily inbound calls (approximately 200 a day) from sales prospects and third-party partners
Execute transfer of potential customers to a licensed insurance agent
Educate consumers on SelectQuote's value proposition of "We shop, you save" through our 20+ A-Rated carrier comparison shopping technology, and further sell them on the importance of talking to our sales agents
Intense focus on script adherence, client screening, and handling and overcoming objections and stalls to get them the help they need in their shopping experience
Willingness to receive improvement coaching and implement those suggested actions
Meet and exceed specified monthly goals for transfer rates and other key performance indicators
Become a part of a competitive team atmosphere and great culture that rewards performance

Required

This is an unlicensed position. Candidates with Insurance Licenses will not be considered

Competitive personality & an internal motivation - You need to have the drive to overcome customer objections and compete with yourself and other agents to succeed and hit new goals
Ability to follow instructions and have proficiency with technology, especially computers, software applications and phone systems
Demonstrated professionalism in conduct and behaviors
Ability to work in a private, dedicated workspace free from distractions
Hardwired high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 20mbps and upload speed of 20mbps
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred

Sales Experience is preferred: We are looking for candidates with a sales mindset to join our team. Call center, sales with metrics, or a performance-based client-facing job in the last 2 years is preferred
Experience working in a professional office setting
