Responsibilities
Perform general manual tasks on a seasonal basis at all Lincoln County parks: Collect garbage and clean Park restrooms
Cut brush and mow grass
Maintain tools and equipment
Maintain picnics tables and fireplaces in safe working order
Maintain signage
Assist campers and other Park users
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma / GED
Previous experience maintaining public parks and contact with the public preferred
Knowledge of the maintenance and use of tools and equipment
Knowledge and skills to operate small powered tools such as weed eaters, power saws and lawn mowers
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to observe safety rules, laws, and Park rules
Ability to receive and give directions
Ability to problem-solve and de-escalate tense situations
Ability to complete tasks without direct supervision
Ability to perform heavy manual labor
Preferred
Previous experience maintaining public parks and contact with the public preferred
