Responsibilities
Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of front-of-house staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service
Oversee daily service and operations to support business goals and a smooth guest experience
Ensure excellent service and explore innovative ways to enhance offerings, driving guest satisfaction and revenue
Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards while ensuring compliance with all regulations
Develop staff schedules, manage budgets, cost control and purchasing
Keep up to date with industry trends and represent the resort in relevant professional organizations
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, particularly in food & beverage, travel, or golf
Proven experience in team leadership, staff development, and expense control
Basic understanding of wine to enhance the dining experience through wine sales and training
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A calm, thoughtful approach to navigating challenges
A polished appearance and positive attitude that reflects Sand Valley's standards
Comfort working in an active, floor-based role with extended periods of standing and walking during service
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced dining environment
