Responsibilities

Examines and maintains basic claims:

Reviews and evaluates coverage and/or liability

Secures and analyzes necessary information (i.e., reports, policies, appraisals, statements, records or other documents) to assist in the processing of claim payments

Ensures that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner

Ensures claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statues, regulations and other legal requirements, and that all applicable company procedures and policies are followed

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

3+ years of related experience

Performs standard duties utilizing routine procedures on assignments of low complexity or of a repetitive nature

Possesses procedural knowledge and skills that enable task accomplishment

Performs work under close supervision
