Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry
Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to insurance carrier operations
Understanding of the legislative process and proficient in the analysis of industry related legislation
Experience responding to regulatory inquiries, examinations, and audits
Ability to conduct legal research using tools such as WestLaw, Lexis, ODEN, and Wolters Kluwer
Capable of handling complex and/or ambiguous issues and situations
Excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly and concisely explain compliance concerns
Familiar with SERFF filing platform and the filing process for insurance products
Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision
PC skills including Microsoft Office products
