Landmark Credit Union is committed to putting people first and offers a Summer Internship Program for students. As a Business Services Underwriting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in business lending, collaborate with team members, and contribute to daily tasks within the Business Services team.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Learn our corporate culture and basic day-to-day communication/work processes

Learn the financial industry and business needs of our members

Assist with daily Business Services tasks, such as preparing loan documents, assist with insurance, title and flood orders, scan documents into loan documentation system, Nautilus

Collaborate with team members to learn the various roles of the Business Services Operations team, Loan Admin, Processing, Servicing, Closing and Quality Control

Attend and participate in team meetings and contribute ideas

Take on special project and assignments as directed by managers

Perform other duties as needed

Required

Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Paralegal, Real Estate or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates entering their senior year

Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to meet deadlines while working independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Demonstrated interest in learning business lending and business loan processing and documentation

Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 12-week program

Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations
