Responsibilities

Serve as the primary administrative support for the City Manager’s Office, including greeting visitors, screening calls, and responding to inquiries
Coordinate and prepare responses to correspondence from City Council, citizens, and departments
Maintain calendars for the City Manager and Assistant City Managers; schedule meetings and organize travel arrangements
Prepare and process financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and budget adjustments
Draft and manage confidential correspondence and documentation
Organize and maintain departmental records and filing systems; serve as records management liaison
Assist with City Council meeting preparation and attend meetings as needed to take notes and track Council directives
Coordinate special projects and research assignments as directed
Maintain office supplies and subscriptions; manage conference room scheduling
Drive to vendors or locations within the city for errands as required

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Four (4) years of experience providing administrative support to senior management personnel
Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred

Associate's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field
Experience in municipal or governmental administration
Notary Public or able to obtain within 6 months
