Assistant Facilities Manager
John Knox Village of Central Florida is a Continuing Care Retirement Community situated in Orange City, FL, where more than 800 residents enjoy a variety of living options. The Assistant Facilities Manager supports the Director of Facilities in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operations of the community, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities
Support the Director of Facilities in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and physical operations
Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating maintenance activities across the 200-acre campus
Supervise maintenance staff and manage projects
Ensure regulatory compliance
Support the achievement of John Knox Village of Central Florida's Mission, Vision, and Core Values through operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management in a CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community), senior living, healthcare, or related industry
Specialized licenses or certifications required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, Air Conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing, or other relevant trades
Preferred
General Contractor's License, Building Contractor's License, or Residential Contractor's License
EPA certification for HVAC systems
