Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage revenue recognition and deferred revenue in compliance with ASC 606
Lead month-end and year-end close processes and maintain strong internal controls
Own and optimize the order-to-pay process, ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled workflows from procurement through payment
Drive process improvements and automation across accounting and finance operations
Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and liquidity
Support audit activities and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax partners
Partner with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA certification required
Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based environment required
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
Strong understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, internal controls, and end-to-end order-to-pay processes
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment
