Responsibilities

Architect blockchain solutions: Design and develop decentralized applications (dApps) on the Solana blockchain, creating robust and scalable architectures tailored to client needs

Build smart contracts: Develop, test, and deploy Solana programs using Rust, ensuring security, efficiency, and adherence to best practices

Create seamless user experiences: Develop front-end applications that interact smoothly with Solana programs using Web3 libraries and modern JavaScript frameworks

Integrate across ecosystems: Connect Solana dApps with existing web2 systems, APIs, and other blockchain protocols to create comprehensive solutions

Engage with clients directly: Work closely with clients to understand their problems, goals, and priorities, translating business requirements into technical solutions

Manage project delivery: Oversee project timelines, communicate tradeoffs and risks clearly, and ensure client expectations are aligned throughout development

Stay cutting-edge: Keep up-to-date with the latest Solana ecosystem trends, tools, and technologies, continuously expanding technical expertise

Drive team growth: Contribute to the development of Lazer's Solana expertise through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and best practice development

Required

Solana ecosystem expert: 3+ years of proven experience in Solana dApp development across the full stack, with deep understanding of the SVM and Solana fundamentals (account model, Sealevel runtime, Proof of History, CPI)

Rust programming specialist: Strong proficiency in Rust programming language for Solana program development, with experience designing, implementing, and deploying smart contracts

Full-stack JavaScript developer: Expert experience in full-stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem (React, Node, Next.js) with modern tooling and best practices

Solana tooling fluent: Deep familiarity with Solana-specific libraries and tools including Anchor, Solana Web3.js, Solana CLI, and development services like Phantom, SPL, and Metaplex

Client-focused professional: Experience working in consulting or contracting contexts with strong communication skills for managing client expectations and project timelines

Integration expert: Proven ability to integrate Solana dApps with existing web2 systems, APIs, and other Solana programs, invoking functions as needed

Cloud infrastructure experienced: Familiarity with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) for deploying and scaling blockchain applications
