Account Manager - Home Depot
Interoceanic Corporation (IOC) is a marketer and distributor of fertilizer products, dedicated to excellent service and customer growth since 1983. The Account Manager – Home Depot will manage day-to-day execution and operational performance for the Home Depot partnership, ensuring compliance with standards while driving account growth and collaboration across various teams.

Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of sales programs, promotions, and product launches for the Home Depot
Execute annual programs for lawn & garden products under both Spring Valley and private label brands at Home Depot
Manage retailer portals for item setup, pricing updates, promotional submissions, and compliance requirements to reduce risk and cost
Track account-specific scorecards, item data integrity, OTIF performance, ASN accuracy, routing compliance, RDC/IFC flow, and vendor compliance, proactively resolving & escalating issues as needed
Lead and coordinate regional and Pro-specific events with The Home Depot
Drive the preparation and execution of line reviews, ensuring all materials, data, and timelines align with Home Depot expectations
Coordinate and manage all setup, data entry, documentation, pricing, compliance, and readiness meeting Home Depot standards
Translate new product ideas into actionable plans, ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on time
Track timelines and proactively address issues that may delay launch
Work closely with the Sales team to support account strategy, growth initiatives, and customer needs
Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate order fulfillment
Work closely with marketing on the development of merchandising, packaging, and promotional collateral
Partner with finance to track promotional spend, deductions, margin improvement, and ROI analysis
Support senior leadership in strategic meetings and contribute to decision-making
Oversee order processing and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely fulfillment
Possess a strong working knowledge of Home Depot policies, procedures, and systems
Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment, compliance, and smooth execution
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve order, product, or operational issues quickly and effectively
Serve as a solution-oriented resource for internal teams, customers, and vendors
Collect, analyze, and report on POS, inventory, and promotional performance data
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in account management, preferably within retail, big-box, or Home Depot accounts
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Strong understanding of order management processes and retail compliance
Ability to manage complex projects such as line reviews and product launches while conducting day-to-day operations while meeting all deadlines
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requires advanced communication and presentation
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant discipline required
Experience in consumer product sales
Prior experience working directly with Home Depot
Experience coordinating with multiple vendors and internal departments
Familiarity with product setup, SKU management, and retail systems
