Atlantic Group is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to play a vital role in their client's accounting operations and financial well-being. The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, account reconciliation, maintain the general ledger, and contribute to the monthly financial close process.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed journal entries for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets
Perform meticulous reconciliation of bank statements and credit card statements
Analyze revenue and expense accounts for any anomalies
Compile schedules and documentation for external audits
Review purchase orders for proper approval and coding
Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP
Ensure accurate recording of inventory counts
Assist in financial statement preparation and analysis
Drive process improvements through automation and system integration
Conduct variance analysis on budgets versus actuals
Handle ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as required

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting
A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Intermediate skills in Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
