Vice President of Customer Success and Growth - DTC / Ecommerce
Talently is a profitable, fast-growing marketing automation platform built for modern ecommerce and DTC brands. They are seeking a senior Customer Success and Growth leader to own the full post-sale experience and scale the function through the next phase of growth, leading a large, cross-functional team to drive retention and expansion revenue.

Responsibilities
Revenue retention and growth: Own retention, renewals, and expansion revenue. Drive larger and more strategic engagements with customers each cycle. Build playbooks and coaching programs that enable the team to consistently identify and close expansion opportunities
Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high performing customer organization of approximately 40 people. Be highly visible and engaged with the team, leading from the front, customer calls, deal strategy, and escalations. Set a high bar for performance, accountability, and energy
End to end customer ownership: Oversee onboarding, activation, support, ongoing success, and renewals. Ensure customers reach value quickly and continue to deepen their engagement over time
Performance marketing partnership: Act as a strategic growth partner to customers. Advise CMOs, Heads of Growth, and Founders on attribution, incrementality, funnel performance, and how different channels work together. Help customers understand where and how to invest more with the platform
Commercial enablement: Train and coach the team to sell consultatively and confidently. Build frameworks for discovery, value articulation, and expansion strategy
Operational excellence: Design and maintain simple, scalable processes that allow the team to operate efficiently at scale without losing speed or quality
Qualification
Required
7-10+ plus years of relevant experience in performance driven, ecommerce, or DTC environments
Direct experience working with ecommerce and DTC brands is required
Strong performance marketing background is required
You have led a multi function customer success, account management, partnerships, or services organization that directly owned revenue outcomes
You have a track record of improving retention, renewals, and expansion at scale and building repeatable systems that support growth
You are fluent in performance marketing and comfortable in detailed growth conversations
You can discuss attribution, incrementality, CAC, LTV, funnel metrics, and channel mix with credibility
You are a high motor, high presence leader who is visible, energetic, and actively involved in the business
You are comfortable owning commercial conversations and helping customers invest more when value is clear
You think in experiments, cohorts, and playbooks and care deeply about outcomes, not just activity
You are an empathetic but demanding leader who sets a high bar and makes people better
You are a clear, confident communicator who brings teams together and creates alignment
Preferred
Experience selling into or partnering closely with Shopify brands or the Shopify ecosystem
