Responsibilities

Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are ready to meet production schedules
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on mold tools
Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures and equipment to result in more efficient operations
Maintain a safe, clean working environment
May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Mold tool maintenanceInjection mold assemblyReading schematicsMechanical mathematicsTechnical comprehension

Required

Must have a high school diploma or GED
Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models
Ability to comprehend and retain technical verbal and written instructions
Understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance
Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 lbs
Ability to occasionally move objects weighing in excess of 100 lbs
Ability to stand and walk on a regular basis and occasionally climb, stoops, kneels, or crouch
Ability to view fine detail, color variation, and depth perception for extended periods

Preferred

Associate degree preferred
Prior Injection mold tool maintenance and assembly experience preferred
