Responsibilities
Own the end to end product design process and implementation for new product features
Partner with engineering to review ensure all product updates meet design requirements
Lead user and competitive research to inform product strategy
Improve and maintain our current design system and brand alongside our senior marketing designer
Work ahead of engineering sprints by 1-2 sprints and keep pace with our fast development team
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within our marketing, veterinary and other departments to support company goals
Become an expert in the pet insurance domain and stay ahead of trends in the industry
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of Experience as a Product Designer
Startup experience or demonstrated ability in large ownership and working autonomously
Experience running user and competitive research independently
You're opinionated and willing to share your perspective on how to best solve problems for our users
Demonstrated examples of working collaboratively with different types of teams and job functions
Based in the New York City area, with willingness to work in person with the CEO and team at least four days a week in Midtown Manhattan
