Nowadays is the first AI platform for planning corporate events, and they are seeking a Founding Engineer to shape their tech, product, and culture. The role involves full-stack development, managing an extensive venue and vendor database, and building AI-driven systems for event planning.

Responsibilities

Own and expand our Next.js and Supabase apps

Grow and refine our 400K+ venue and vendor database

Build systems that automate sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and payments with AI

Manage full-stack development and ship end-to-end features — fast

Continuously experiment and iterate on AI models and automation flows

Required

Experience in full-stack development (React, TypeScript, Python)

Confidence in shipping end-to-end products quickly and independently

Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change — you adapt fast and stay focused

Willingness to dive into the manual parts of event planning to deeply understand the problems and build better tools
