Responsibilities
Greet customers upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous service
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and efficiently per Inwood procedures
Maintain accurate records of transactions
Balance cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies
Answer customer inquiries and provide appropriate information
Refer customers to the appropriate staff for further assistance
Maintain a clean and professional workstation
Adhere to all security procedures and regulations to minimize risk
Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services
Cross-sell bank products and services to customers
Monitor customer feedback and provide insights for product and process improvements
Ensures compliance with established Bank policies and procedures
Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and related laws as they pertain to the Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Cash handling experience required
Excellent customer service skills
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to accurately handle and count money
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn banking software programs
Willing to learn banking regulations and procedure
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adhere to policies and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to lift 50 pound items regularly
Preferred
Prior Teller / Banking Customer Service Representative experience
