Business Development Manager
KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive strategic growth across the MEP, HVAC, concrete, and steel construction markets. The role involves building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to pursue new business in MEP, HVAC, concrete, and steel construction sectors
Build and maintain high-value relationships with owners, contractors, engineers, facility managers, and construction leaders
Partner with estimating, operations, and project teams to ensure excellent client communication and satisfaction
Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-service offerings
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and on-site project visits
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Manage a pipeline of opportunities and maintain accurate CRM documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development, account management, or sales within MEP, HVAC, construction, concrete, or steel industries
Strong understanding of building systems, project workflows, and construction processes
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently
Willingness to travel regularly (regional or national)
