As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking help, managing intake services and ensuring a smooth admission process to aid in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
Coordinate admissions and discharges for all patients
Verify benefit eligibility and insurance coverage
Assist with Utilization Review and billing issues
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other fees at admission, during treatment, or at discharge
Arrange patient payment plans when necessary
Serve as a liaison to patients regarding insurance benefits and coverage
Schedule and complete admission assessments and required paperwork
Attend team meetings and complete all required training on time
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year intake/admissions experience, preferably in behavioral healthcare
Preferred
Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university
Three (3) years of intake/admissions experience in behavioral healthcare
Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest

Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
