Responsibilities
Lead engineers, technicians, and the storeroom team to plan, schedule, and maintain new and existing plant assets
Scope engineering and maintenance work to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability
Address engineering issues affecting safety and ensure assets meet ergonomic and safety standards
Lead capital and maintenance projects for installation, upgrades, and infrastructure modification
Develop and implement maintenance strategies with local and corporate reliability teams to achieve uptime targets
Define and maintain equipment reliability requirements and associated asset documentation
Lead manufacturing automation and controls improvement efforts to enhance system performance and reliability
Monitor and analyze equipment recovery and performance; drive improvements based on findings
Evaluate capital investment opportunities and manage maintenance/repair budgets
Deliver capital projects within cost targets and maintain a 5‑year Capex plan
Qualification
Required
Leadership experience in plant engineering, maintenance, reliability, and automation within manufacturing
Background managing mechanical and electrical maintenance for production equipment
Experience overseeing maintenance budgets and capital project execution
Expertise in planning/scheduling maintenance activities for both existing and new assets
Experience supporting automation, instrumentation, and controls systems
Preferred
Reliability engineering methods: RCM, PM optimization, failure analysis, uptime/OEE improvement
Automation/controls: PLC, SCADA, HMI, instrumentation, and industrial networking
Asset management documentation: reliability requirements, maintenance plans, critical spare strategies
Capital planning: 5‑year Capex planning, business case development, project portfolio management
Maintenance storeroom and inventory management, including stocking strategies and cycle counting
Project management for equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
Safety engineering support: machine risk reduction, ergonomics, and safe equipment operation
