Responsibilities
Originate residential loans (purchase & refinance) for secondary market or portfolio
Manage loan applications, disclosures, rate locks, and documentation using Mortgagebot & Encompass
Deliver proactive communication and top-tier member service throughout the loan process
Maintain organized pipelines and meet volume goals
Cross-sell FCCU products to meet member needs
Stay current on mortgage regulations and compliance standards
Represent FCCU at community events and member meetings - evenings/weekends as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of college-level coursework in finance or lending-related fields
3+ years in high-volume mortgage lending, with at least 1 year of origination experience
Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills
Deep knowledge of mortgage products (FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC) and credit analysis
NMLS registration or eligibility required
