Wealth and Personal Banking Insurance Specialist

As a WPB Insurance Specialist, you will collaborate with various financial professionals to deliver tailored insurance solutions while managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for HSBC clients regarding insurance and wealth management needs
Develop and present individualized insurance proposals, investment solutions, and client presentations
Build and manage trusted relationships with advisors and their clients
Collaborate with internal teams (wealth planners, investment specialists, credit, trust, operations) to deliver a seamless client experience
Educate business partners through ongoing training, on the value of the full suite of insurance offerings and the identification of insurance opportunities
Track business development opportunities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and support pipeline management
Monitor client portfolios and banking activities to ensure alignment with goals and risk tolerance
Prepare management reports and support special projects
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Escalate potential risks or compliance concerns promptly
Seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience
Achieve insurance revenue goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience in insurance sales, wealth management, private banking, or financial services
Life license, FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 or 66 (in lieu of 63 and 65); Property & Casualty license and Series 7 a plus
Sales orientated with consultative sales and relationship management skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Cantonese, or Mandarin a plus
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Tech savvy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM experience a plus
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and client service excellence
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a high performance, client focused culture
