Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance for all IT-related issues
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Follow-up and update customer status and information
Identify and suggest possible improvements to existing procedures
Provide technical support to all departments for computer, network, data, telecommunications, and print functions
Run software updates and backups as needed
Learn assigned applications
Create and maintain documentation for specialized hardware and software
Other duties as assigned
Works on special projects as directed by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in information technology or related field
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Good judgment and critical thinking skills
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Attention to detail and strong written communication skills to help with technical documentation
Excellent customer service skills
Good written and verbal communications skills
Technical knowledge in WindowsOS, MacOS, and iOS
Ability to work weekends
Preferred
2 years of experience as a help desk technician or similar support role preferred
