Responsibilities

Execute engineering projects as assigned by resort leadership, ensuring timely and efficient completion
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the optimal functionality of resort facilities and equipment
Complete basic maintenance tasks, including painting, caulking, and repairing wall damage
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues related to toilets, tubs, jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks
Reset circuit breakers and GFCIs, replace bulbs, and measure voltage using appropriate tools
Install, replace, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and other electronics to ensure proper operation
Diagnose and repair appliances, replace minor components, and assist with full appliance replacements as necessary
Actively engage in procurement and inventory management to ensure that materials and tools are always available
Utilize resort operations devices and software (e.g., HotSOS) efficiently for reporting and communication
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards
Take on additional tasks as assigned by management to enhance the overall guest experience and resort operations

Required

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on trades & maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment
Be energetic, self-motivated, and expressive with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills are essential for fostering positive relationships with both guests and peers
Able to adapt to various situations, thrive under pressure, and deliver results within designated timeframes is paramount
Must regularly lift and/or move, push and/or pull up to 50+ pounds
Must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and conversing in English
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license
Candidates are required to pass a background check, drug test, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
