Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic digital workplace solutions

Design and implement collaboration, communication, and knowledge management tools

Assess and recommend new technologies to enhance the digital work experience

Ensure security and compliance within digital workplace environments

Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors for effective implementation

Triage workplace architecture related requests to identify best fit solutions

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs

Collaborate with the enterprise service owners to ensure solutions align with enterprise and security policies and standards

Work in conjunction with enterprise services to maintain the platforms used to deliver standard software packages, patches and upgrades for assigned projects

Interact with vendors for technical support as needed to solve hardware/software problems or gain product insights

Document and oversee the creation of workplace architecture standards, procedures and guidelines necessary to meet the complex computing requirements of DOH

Collaborate closely with ITS cross-functional teams (Shared services, Network, BAS, Procurement, Finance, CTO, CISO, Legal, etc.) in managing initiatives

Executive reporting, management, workstream and backlog ticket tracking. KPIs will be leveraged to manage daily, weekly, monthly workloads

Communicate effectively with executive management as required

Manage time effectively to address priorities, deadlines and additional assignments

Work with technical and functional area experts and others as needed to develop a comprehensive knowledge of products and solutions available

Evaluate complicated procurement documents and proposals for all types of requests. Sample requests include SOWs and proposals for PTPs, RFPs, RFQs

Provide courteous, professional and timely resolution of issues

Maintain a positive and productive work environment internally within ITS and externally with Agency partners

Coordinate and communicate effectively with ITS and DOH commissioners and leadership

Perform all supervisory responsibilities as applicable

Required

Five years of experience

Associate's degree and four years of experience

Associate's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience

Bachelor's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and two years of experience

Master's degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience

Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience
