Smith Drug Company is a premier healthcare supplier currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Business Consultant. The role involves establishing and implementing sales plans, maintaining customer relationships, and developing market strategies to increase the customer base in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Establish, devise and implement sales plans to achieve sales objectives
Maintain a thorough understanding of all company products and procedures by demonstration, observation and consultation
Develop and implement a market strategy to increase customer base in assigned territory
Responsible for identifying prospects, cold calling, and follow up on all sales leads
Respond promptly to customer needs and requests
Responsible for maintaining and retaining business through customer loyalty and the commitment to excellent customer service
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional event
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work independently while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Proficient computer skills with Database software knowledge; Spreadsheet and Word Processing software
Ability to build rapport with both customers and other team members
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel/road warrior
Bachelor's degree; or one to two years related experience/and or training
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Microsoft Office: 5 years
Analysis skills: 3 years
