Mid LevelCreative Title is a Colorado-based title and escrow company. They are seeking a licensed Colorado attorney to support a standardized, template-driven closing operation by reviewing document exceptions and maintaining compliance in closing packages.
Real Estate
Responsibilities
Reviewing, refining, and internally publishing standardized real estate closing document templates approved for use
Performing manual reviews when documents are customized beyond fill-in-the-blank use
Reviewing and redlining custom terms, non-standard provisions, or structural deviations
Joining pre-scheduled client-facing calls to explain documents or answer questions neutrally (no representation; calls are scheduled based on your availability)
Identifying and flagging issues that fall outside approved scope or raise escalation concerns
Maintaining familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations related to real estate settlement, closing, and lending
Assisting with periodic template updates as laws, regulations, or best practices change
Briefing escrow and operations staff on changes, requirements, or recurring issues
Qualification
Required
Active attorney license (Colorado)
Maintains own malpractice insurance
Preferred
Past experience with investor real estate transactions and closing documents
