DelMonte Hotel Group is a leader in the hospitality industry, currently seeking a Room Service Server. In this role, you will take orders and serve meals to guests in their rooms while providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Perform opening and closing sidework per checklists
Answer phone in accordance with proper telephone standards to take room service orders and relay orders to kitchen
Deliver all food items, beverages and necessary accompaniments to guest rooms
Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment
Answer questions regarding room service and respond to requests for additional food or drink service
Collect room service trays from halls outside of guest rooms and bring to kitchen
Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings
Deliver VIP gifts, guest amenities and package items to guest rooms as needed
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Room Service station and surrounding areas
Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel to guests

Required

1 to 3 months related experience; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
