Responsibilities

Providing Tier 3 technical support, including troubleshooting and professional communication
Demonstrate expertise in Tier 1/Tier 2 responsibilities (triaging tickets, basic support) in order to support those teams
Acting as a point of escalation and coach for our Tier 1/Tier 2 teams, analyze ticket data for improvement opportunities, and serve as a business partner to other departments and initiatives
Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems to include routine maintenance, patching, updates, performance monitoring and troubleshooting server-related issues
Managing Active Directory; including user accounts, groups, OUs, permissions and implementing and maintaining role-based access controls (RBAC)
Developing and applying Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security policies and configurations
Utilizing PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks
Developing and implementing patch management strategies to ensure system security and stability
Assisting with the administration and management of SaaS applications and demonstrating a working knowledge of basic networking concepts
Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, and document solutions for team sharing
Participating in after-hours on-call support rotation and TS maintenance windows for system upgrades and patching
Working with vendors to resolve issues (onsite or phone) and performing Systems Administration tasks in various platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Zoom, Amazon Connect)
Creating and implementing new policies and procedures for software and hardware changes following published ITIL practices
Partnering with Team Leads and Managers on training and policy and procedure implementation
Engaging in continual service improvement processes so we remain efficient and effective as a team and organization

Required

High School diploma or equivalent with some continuing education and/or certifications in IT systems
5-6 years of experience in IT systems, at least 1 administration focused on Windows Server environments
Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and PowerShell
Solid understanding of Windows Server management and patching, and basic networking concepts
Familiarity with major Cloud Providers and SaaS administration
Experience with Microsoft operating systems and office applications; plus if you are experienced with Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Confluence, and Jira
Ability to blend creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills to support end-users
Must possess excellent customer service skills (in-person and virtual)
Strong communication skills for remote user support and troubleshooting
High learning agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Dynamic troubleshooting skills and ability to handle ambiguous situations
Willingness to take on new projects and learn new technologies
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels
Must be able to carry and transport up to 70 pounds up to 20 feet
Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
