Fastenal Material Planner and Account Manager
GE Vernova is seeking a highly motivated and organized Account Manager to join their team, focusing on managing VMI Supplier. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the manufacturing plant, warehouse, and supplier base, driving efficiency and maintaining high service levels.

Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for Material Planning, production, and Warehouse teams regarding the VMI program
Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) to discuss performance metrics, inventory health, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Resolve complex issues or escalations related to inventory discrepancies, delivery schedules, or product quality, ensuring client satisfaction
Generate and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) reports, including on-time delivery (OTD), e-andon closure aging and consumption variances
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for cost reduction or process optimization
Ensure all VMI transactions and communications are accurately recorded in SAP
Create PO’s and follow up on deliveries for all part numbers supplied by Fastenal
Follow all KPI’s for the Material Planning team (On-time conversion for open reqs; PO acknowledgment, Open Order Management, Past due PO’s, etc)
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Account Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, preferably within a VMI, or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) principles, including inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment methodologies
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data to various stakeholders (plant floor to executive level)
