Transit Management Analyst Series
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is responsible for public transportation in the region, and they are seeking a Transit Management Analyst Series to assist in project planning and budget oversight. The role involves providing strategic support across various projects and ensuring effective communication and documentation of customer interactions.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist in the development of project master plans, overseeing project budgets and expenditures as well as provide strategic support to all Division of Track sub-divisions, their projects, and responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist in providing support for Track labor forecasting, service reliability, cost analysis and other responsibilities; project planning and development, implementation and execution of various Division of Track projects and processes; and assist in the beneficial use and closeout of projects
Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to: overseeing the appropriate response to all incoming customer correspondence, comments and concerns including written complaints, telephone, email, personal visits, social media, etc.; ensuring consistency in performance, high level of professionalism, and accurate documentation of both incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence; and updating and maintaining various computerized tracking systems required to generate reports where necessary
In addition, the selected candidate should also have the skill to streamline and automate processes
Qualification
Required
A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, or
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration
A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one year of full-time satisfactory professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration; or
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in '1' above
Ability to make recommendations for action plans or streamlining to improve business performance
Strong writing, research and interpretation skills
Ability to function independently with limited work direction
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to facilitate colleagues to solve client support problems
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
