Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial strategy, ensure fiscal integrity, and support the organization's long-term sustainability while collaborating with the executive team on financial planning and compliance.

Oversees Lumibility’s financial strategy
Ensures fiscal integrity
Supports the organization’s long-term sustainability
Supervises the management of information technology and facility operations and management
Works closely with the CEO and executive team to guide financial planning
Manages risk
Ensures compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements

Required

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
Minimum of 7 years of senior financial leadership experience in both the private sector and nonprofit organizations
Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
Strong understanding of funding models and regulatory frameworks
Strong knowledge of information technology systems and operational management
Experience in strategic planning and organizational development
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic financial partnerships
Ability to work flexible hours and travel to varying locations as needed
Must have a valid CT driver's license with an acceptable driving history as defined by Lumibility policy
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk at an assigned location(s) and work for extended periods of time
Must be able to bend/stoop, kneel, and balance frequently
Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder level; push/pull, squat, and crouch occasionally
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to drive for extended periods throughout the day

Preferred

MBA and/or CPA preferred
Some knowledge of M & A activity preferred
