ANALYST II

Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Branch Chief of Safety and Facilities Operations, the District Safety Officer has responsibility for all safety-related work activities affecting the employees within the district
The District Safety Officer will perform a range of safety related duties in development, implementation and enforcement of the Department's Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Ergonomics and Emergency Preparedness Programs
The incumbent will also conduct facility inspections and workstation evaluations
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing
Describe your experience working in a situation with competing task demands for your time and how you prioritized each task
Describe your thought process and experience balancing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines while ensuring all necessary steps are completed
Demonstrated experience in applying quality customer service principles and the ability to ensure accurate and timely service
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If you are basing your eligibility on education, you must include your unofficial transcript(s)/diploma for verification
Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment
Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent
