Responsibilities
Lead and execute complex SQL development and optimization efforts
Rebuild and migrate ETL pipelines, data connections, and database objects
Support large-scale data migration into a Snowflake environment
Apply best practices in data warehousing and database architecture
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and performance issues
Partner with data engineering, analytics, and technical stakeholders
Contribute to standards and technical consistency across data platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
7-10 years of experience in database administration, data engineering, or a related field
Advanced, daily-use SQL expertise
Strong experience with complex joins and advanced query logic
Proficiency in Python for scripting and data interaction
Strong background in ETL processes and data processing frameworks
Experience working with data warehouse platforms and data architecture
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake, Fabric, Redshift, or similar platforms
Exposure to Apache-based tools, PySpark, AWS Glue, or comparable ETL frameworks
Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab)
Experience supporting or enabling data visualization tools
